Claremont Practice Newsletter

Welcome to the latest newsletter, we hope you enjoy reading it.

Our refurbishment is now completed and we are very happy with the results, we hope you enjoy the new environment and find it more comfortable, thanks to Peter for all his hard work and for your understanding during this dusty time! Gavins surgery is the latest to get an over haul.

We welcome Esti, Katie, Zilly and Adele to the practice team. Esti is our new hygienist and joins us from Guys hospital. Katie is our new receptionist and joined the team in January. Zilly and Adele join the nursing team.

Rob has become a proud father as his wife Alison gave birth to a 8lb baby boy at the end of last year, named Barnaby, although much to Robs annoyance shortened by many of us to Barny due to all of the rubble in the practice! He can't believe how much life has changed (we did try to tell him).

Rob may thinks he has his hands full, but Elaine (Gavin's nurse) will certainly have hers full in September when she has twins due!!! We hope you will join us in congratulating Elaine on her forthcoming arrivals.

Excel accreditation
We have had our annual Denplan excel accreditation inspection; which we passed with flying colours; this was a great achievement for everyone in the practice as it demonstrates that high standards are continually maintained throughout all aspects of the dental practice.

Due to an increased number of unattended hygiene appointments, we now unfortunately have to charge for the missed appointment unless cancelled giving 24hrs notice.

Gavin would like to thank all those who sponsored him for last years London Marathon.

Gavin received a great letter from his chosen charity, The Amani Trust thanking everyone for their donations to there cause helping victims of torture in Zimbabwe.

This year we plan to undertake the British Dental Association good practice scheme, this recognises practices of excellence.

We look forward to seeing you at the practice soon
